Summit Music Festival is saddened to hear of the passing of the violinist, great artist, teacher, pedagogue, and our dear friend, Victor Danchenko.

Victor Danchenko was one of Summit’s prominent violin faculty and artists for the past 25 years. Mr. Danchenko attracted many talented and brilliant students from all around the world. He embodied the best of the Russian tradition combined with the American practical approach. He was admired by his colleagues and students for his tremendous qualities; for this and so much more, he will be remembered, and greatly missed. We are forever grateful for his many contributions to Summit Music Festival, and to each of us he touched with his music.

Due to the international pandemic, and following state and local rules and guidelines,  we regret to announce that the 2020 summer session is cancelled.

We  would  like to convey to all who were looking forward to taking part in this session how sorry and disappointed we are.

To the whole Summit family: Teachers and artists, students and parents, friends and followers:

We make a pledge and a promise that  we will do our utmost to make the 2021 season into our greatest yet, worthy of our 30th anniversary.

We look forward to see, hear, and work with you all then.
