Both can be dialed from all locations on campus and you will be connected to the Department of Safety and Security in the main lobby of Spellman Hall. A safety officer is there 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Security Director can be reached at x5406 (or 914-323-5406 from outside lines).
RESTAURANTS — HOTEL — TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION
ID CARDS
Each Summit Music Festival participant will be issued a SMF ID card. We will also give you a Summit Music Festival lanyard and card case to hold your ID. You must wear this ID at all times while on the Manhattanville Campus. The ID’s will be issued at registration for both Boarding Students and Day Students.
CAFETERIA
The Cafeteria is located on the 2nd floor of Benziger Hall.
Breakfast $7.75,
Lunch $11.23,
Dinner $14.90 (one price for all you can eat)
Cafeteria (open 7 days/week)
Breakfast 8:00am – 10:00am
Lunch 11:00am – 2:00pm
Dinner 5:00pm – 7:00pm
Day Students – may pay cash or card for meals.
Boarding Students – The swipe card must be presented to the cafeteria cashier for each meal. Your first meal will be dinner on the day of your arrival and your last meal will be breakfast the day of your departure.
The Market at Mville- located on the 1st floor of Benziger Hall where you can purchase sandwiches, snacks, beverages, etc.
Open 7 days/week: 9:00am-5:00pm
There are various vending machines throughout the campus.
MANHATTANVILLE BOOKSTORE
The summer hours for the Manhattanville Bookstore are 10am-4pm
LIBRARY
The summer hours for the Manhattanville Library are 9am-5pm (Monday- Friday)
POST OFFICE
The summer hours for the Manhattanville Post Office are 10am-4:30pm (Monday- Friday)
STUDENT PARKING
For those bringing a car to the campus, either as a boarding student or as a day student commuting, you may park in any available lot.
US MONEY
There is NO EXCHANGE facility to exchange foreign money to US money. Please bring extra US money with you to the campus. You will be required to pay for any other incidental expenses (laundry, etc.) in US dollars. There are ATM machines on campus located in Benziger Hall.
SWIMMING POOL & FIELD AVAILABILITY
We currently do not have any access to the pool or the athletic fields. It is prohibited for students to use the pool or fields/athletic spaces without permission.
INTERNET ACCESS
There is free WiFi on the Manhattanville Campus called Mville Wireless. Also, most rooms have a computer jack if you would like to also bring an ethernet cord. You are allowed to use the Manhattanville Library and Computers Labs to access the computers. The Library hours are Mon-Fri: 9am-5pm (Closed Weekends)
