Nils Neubert

Voice

Tenor Nils Neubert was born and raised in Hamburg, Germany, and maintains active performing and teaching careers in the United States and abroad. He is a sought-after interpreter of lieder, oratorio, opera, and chamber music, and a frequent guest with international music festivals. Nils Neubert teaches German diction at The Juilliard School, Manhattan School of Music, Mannes School of Music, and the Music Academy of the West, and leads the German Vocal Repertoire Institute at the Summit Music Festival. He previously served on the faculties of William Paterson University, Kaufman Music Center, and the Music Conservatory of Westchester, and has also taught at the International Academy of Music in Italy, and at the Burgos and Puigcerdà International Music Festivals in Spain. He holds degrees from the Juilliard School (BM), Columbia University (MA), and the Graduate Center of The City University of New York (DMA), and lives in New York City with his wife, pianist Yuri Kim. He is a student of Dr. Robert C. White, Jr.
